The Samaritan Ministry of the Temple Church is an outreach ministry developed based on the teachings of the biblical parable found in the book of Luke chapter 10 verse 33, which states , “But a certain Samaritan, as he journeyed came where he was and when he saw him, he had compassion on him. “ This outreach ministry is designed to provide a way for Christian to “Reach up to God by Reaching out to humanity.” It is a ministry intentional to provide assistance, foster empowerment, encouragement and renewal of the spirit to the people we serve.

Components of the ministry are:
1. Nutritional Support , hot lunches are served daily
2. Clothing Distribution free of charge
3. Social Service referrals
4. Bible study

We have a full staff and volunteers from all over the United States who work to make this ministry a reality for the guest every day. Contact us for your volunteer experience!

The Samaritan Ministries is designed to provide relief, positive assistance, and improve the quality of life of despairing people in North Nashville. Samaritan Ministries fosters a renewal of spirit and hope, and self-esteem. This outreach ministry provides a way for Christians t “ Reach up to God by reaching out to humanity.”
